Mountain Views + Modern Comforts: A Steamboat Springs Stay with Prism
Earlier this fall, I packed my camera gear and headed west to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, to photograph this cozy, design-forward ski condo for my friends at Prism, a boutique property management company owned by Tyler and Brandon.
This four-bedroom home blends mountain charm with modern warmth — the kind of place that makes you want to stay in, light a fire, and play a board game after a long day on the slopes. From the green tiled shower and plaid-accented bedrooms to the statement stone fireplace and high, wood-beamed ceilings, every space feels thoughtfully layered and welcoming.
Capturing the mix of texture and tone throughout the condo was such a treat — rich woods, warm brass, soft textiles, and a palette that pulls the outdoors in. My favorite detail? The wallpaper in the lower level bedroom, featuring a subtle forest motif that perfectly ties in the mountain setting.
Working with Prism is always a joy. Tyler and Brandon have an incredible eye for creating spaces that feel both elevated and comfortable — ideal for guests looking to experience the best possible stay.
Although most of my shoots take place in and around Indianapolis, I love traveling for projects like this one. Whether it’s a ski town in Colorado, a beach rental in Florida, or a designer home in the Midwest, I’m always up for capturing beautiful spaces that tell a story.
